Maeyra currently offers delivery to France, Belgium, Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom, subject to the availability of the services offered at the time of ordering.
Any mandatory provisions affording greater protection to the consumer under the legislation applicable to them shall remain applicable.
3. Products
The essential characteristics of the products are presented on their respective product pages.
Photographs and representations are produced with the aim of reproducing the products as faithfully as possible.
Slight differences may nevertheless result, in particular, from screen displays, photographic lighting or the natural or industrial characteristics specific to the materials and finishes.
Such differences do not constitute a lack of conformity where they do not affect the contractually agreed characteristics of the product.
4. Availability
Only products indicated as available can normally be ordered.
If a product exceptionally becomes unavailable after an order has been confirmed, Maeyra shall inform the Customer as soon as possible and, where the product cannot be supplied, shall issue the corresponding refund in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
5. Prices
The applicable prices are those displayed at the time of ordering.
For the relevant European Union markets, the prices displayed to the consumer correspond to the applicable final prices, excluding delivery charges, which are presented separately.
For the United Kingdom, prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where Maeyra is required to collect it at the time of sale.
Delivery charges are calculated and presented before final confirmation of the order.
Maeyra may change its prices at any time. A change shall not affect orders already concluded.
6. Promotions and Discounts
Maeyra may offer promotional prices, crossed-out prices or quantity discounts.
The terms of the applicable offer are displayed before the order is placed.
The final amount of the discount and the total amount payable are indicated before final confirmation.
Unless otherwise stated, several promotional offers are not necessarily cumulative.
7. Ordering Process
The Customer selects the desired products and variants and adds them to their basket.
Before confirming the order, the Customer may check, in particular:
- the products and variants;
- the quantities;
- the prices;
- the discounts;
- the delivery charges and methods;
- the total amount.
The Customer then provides the information necessary for billing and delivery.
Creating an account is not mandatory.
The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.
8. Confirmation and Obligation to Pay
Before final confirmation, the Customer may review and correct their order and shall read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Confirmation by means of a button explicitly indicating that the order entails an obligation to pay confirms the order.
A confirmation is then sent to the Customer electronically.
9. Payment
Depending on the country, amount and services available, the payment methods offered may include, in particular:
- bank card via Stripe;
- Apple Pay;
- Google Pay;
- Klarna;
- PayPal.
The payment methods actually available are displayed during checkout.
Where the Customer chooses a service provided by a third-party payment provider, that provider’s own terms and conditions may also apply.
10. Order Preparation
Orders are normally prepared for dispatch within one to two working days after confirmation of the order and payment.
This period corresponds to the preparation of the order and does not constitute the total delivery time.
11. Delivery
Carriers and delivery methods vary depending on the country.
Maeyra may use, in particular:
- La Poste;
- Chronopost;
- Mondial Relay,
including through Boxtal.
The available options, their prices and the corresponding estimated delivery times are presented when the order is placed.

12. Delivery Delay
Where the order is not delivered within the announced period or, failing that, within the applicable statutory period, the Customer shall have the remedies provided for by the regulations applicable to them.
Any steps taken by Maeyra with the carrier do not limit the consumer’s rights against Maeyra.
13. Order Not Received
In the event of an order not being received or a delivery incident, the Customer must contact Maeyra at:
Maeyra may open an investigation with the carrier and request the information reasonably necessary to handle the matter.
Where Maeyra is legally liable for the loss of the order, an appropriate solution shall be offered, including, depending on the circumstances, a replacement shipment or a refund.
14. Transfer of Risk
Where Maeyra arranges the transport, the risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to the consumer when they take physical possession of the products, subject to the exceptions provided for by the applicable regulations.
15. Right of Withdrawal
Subject to the exceptions provided for by law, the consumer has a period of 14 days in which to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to give any reason for their decision.
For a sale of goods, the period shall in principle run from receipt of the goods by the consumer or by a third party designated by them other than the carrier.
The consumer may exercise their right:
- using the electronic withdrawal functionality available on Maeyra;
- using the model form made available to them;
- or by any other unambiguous statement expressing their wish to withdraw.

16. Return of Products
After exercising their right of withdrawal, the Customer shall return the products within the applicable statutory period to:
Maeyra
24 Avenue de la marche pour l’égalité et contre le racisme
13014 Marseille
France
The direct costs of returning the products shall be borne by the Customer, unless Maeyra agrees to bear them or the applicable regulations require Maeyra to bear them.
The Customer may handle the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and proper functioning.
The Customer may be liable, under the conditions provided for by law, for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for such examination.
Opening the packaging does not in itself result in the loss of the right of withdrawal where the law does not provide for such an exception.
17. Refund Following Withdrawal
Maeyra shall refund the amounts due in accordance with the time limits and conditions provided for by the applicable regulations.
The refund shall be made using the same means of payment as that used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise, allowing another means to be used at no cost to the consumer.
Where permitted by law, Maeyra may withhold the refund until the product has been recovered or until proof of its dispatch has been received.
Additional costs resulting from the express choice of a delivery method more expensive than the standard method offered are not necessarily refundable under the conditions provided for by the applicable regulations.
18. Personalised Products
Maeyra may offer personalised products, including engraved jewellery.
Where a product is made to the consumer’s specifications or is clearly personalised, the right of withdrawal may be excluded in accordance with the applicable regulations.
This exclusion shall be clearly indicated before the order is placed where it applies.
It does not affect rights relating to a defective or non-conforming product.
19. Hygiene and Condition of Jewellery
Maeyra does not apply a general exclusion from the right of withdrawal solely on the grounds that the products sold are jewellery.
The products must nevertheless be handled with care and must not have been used beyond what is reasonably necessary for their examination.
Any legal exception relating to health protection or hygiene shall only be applied where its legal conditions are actually met.
20. Defective or Non-Conforming Products
In the event of a defective, damaged or non-conforming product, the Customer may contact:
stating their order and the nature of the problem.
Photographs or information reasonably necessary to examine the request may be requested.
Where the legal conditions are met, the Customer shall benefit from the remedies provided under the applicable guarantee, which may include bringing the product into conformity or replacing the product and, under the conditions provided for by law, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
Costs which the seller is legally required to bear shall remain payable by Maeyra.
21. Statutory Guarantees
Consumers benefit from the applicable statutory guarantees independently of any commercial guarantee.
Consumers subject to French law benefit, in particular, from the statutory guarantee of conformity provided for in Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code and the guarantee against hidden defects provided for in Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Maeyra does not offer any additional commercial guarantee separate from these statutory guarantees.

Any unauthorised reproduction or exploitation liable to infringe these rights is prohibited.
Rights belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
26. Minors
The jewellery sold by Maeyra is not, by its nature, a product whose sale is restricted to adults.
Where a minor does not have the legal capacity required to enter into a contract alone, the order must nevertheless be placed in accordance with the rules on capacity and representation applicable to them.
27. Liability and Force Majeure
Maeyra remains responsible for the proper performance of its obligations under the conditions provided for by law.
No provision of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale may have the effect of excluding or limiting any right or liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited in relation to a consumer.
The consequences of an event legally constituting force majeure shall be those provided for by the applicable regulations.
28. Applicable Law — European Union
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
This choice does not deprive a consumer residing in another country of the mandatory protective provisions from which they benefit under the law that would be applicable in the absence of this choice.
Mandatory rules relating to the jurisdiction of the courts remain applicable.
29. Specific Provisions for the United Kingdom
Prices and VAT
Prices intended for the UK market are displayed in GBP.
Where Maeyra is required to collect UK VAT at the time of sale, the price presented to the consumer includes that VAT.
Consignments Not Exceeding £135
For goods located outside the United Kingdom at the time of sale and dispatched directly to a consumer in Great Britain, where the total value of the consignment falls within the regime applicable to consignments not exceeding £135, UK VAT is collected at the point of sale in accordance with the applicable rules.
Consignments Over £135
Above £135, the ordinary rules relating to importation, import VAT and, where applicable, customs duties may apply.
Where Maeyra undertakes to bear certain import or customs charges, those charges shall remain payable by Maeyra in accordance with the terms communicated to the Customer.
UK Consumer Rights
No provision of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale deprives a UK consumer of the mandatory protections from which they benefit under applicable UK legislation.
Personalised products may be excluded from the right to cancel where the conditions provided for by UK legislation are met, without prejudice to rights relating to defective or non-conforming products.
30. Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The General Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable to an order are those in force at the time the order is concluded.
Subsequent amendments apply only to future orders.
